Anonymous publishing does not mean unaccountable publishing. These principles govern how SportsGlare handles evidence, sources, uncertainty and corrections.
Sources need support
A tip is a starting point, not a publishable fact. We seek documents, independent corroboration and a fair opportunity for the people or organisations concerned to respond.
Protected and anonymous sources
A protected source may be known to SportsGlare while remaining unnamed publicly. A genuinely anonymous source is unknown to us and therefore requires stronger supporting evidence.
No manufactured access
We do not dress ordinary analysis up as an exclusive. We never imply access to a meeting, system or tender unless that access can be described responsibly.
Precise language
A trial is not a rollout. A negotiation is not a signed agreement. A demonstration is not a live service. We use the narrowest wording supported by the evidence.
Reporting, analysis and opinion
Every article is labelled. Developing reporting explains what is known, what remains uncertain and why the distinction matters.
Independence
No article is commissioned by a vendor, club, federation or investor. Commercial interests do not determine editorial conclusions.
Corrections are visible
Material changes receive an updated date and a clear note. Small typographical fixes may be made silently. Readers can report an error to desk@sportsglare.com.
